Application Security Engineer – Hybrid

Job Title: Application Security Engineer
Rate: $68.50/hr
LOCATION DETAILS: Iselin, NJ – 6+ months – hybrid onsite
Only taking USC, GC or H4 EAD

Job Description:

• 4+ years of application security experience with at least 2+ years supporting Checkmarx
• 2+ years of experience with Agile and Atlassian products such as Jira/Confluence or equivalent
• Good understanding of OWASP top 10
• Experience supporting patching/upgrade testing
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technology integration issues
• Nice to have: Python scripting experience (3 years)
• Nice to have Cloud experience (2 years) and SQL experience (2 years)

Day to Day
• Provide hands on technical support for Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platform
• Drive vendor accountability to address product defects
• Support patching, upgrade testing
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development team members and offshore partners
• Ensure documentation is current and reflects, process changes and have an eye for detail
