Salary: $100k flexible on salary up to $115K
Location: Palm Beach, FL
Onsite Mon-Friday work from home every other Friday

Seniority Level/Target-a few years in management
• Skill top 3-5-Azure, Intune, Network and Security, Diasater Recovery, +5 years in management and can move into a Director role or is a Director.
• Hands on technical, Network security, over see a team of 2-System Admins, and 1 senior network admin. They will have an involvement of network security and network configuration. They will manage the Network VLANS, routers switches routers and security of firewalls, Monitoring tools. There enviroment is Routers-12, 16 switches-AP turn into POE’s, 22 servers. They are a windows hybrid shop some are physical and some VMware. This person will be focused on Disaster recoevery and take servers to the cloud and understand cloud management.
Main project will be disaster recovery and buis continuing project and non in existence. This person will need to understand DR intails. This is a hands on role where they need to read and draw network schematics and explain to senior management. They must have be strong with Network Security and Network management and configuration day in and day out.
5+ years in management to become the director.
Also can they be familiar with Azure and intune and AD
Disaster recovery.
ROE:The Director of ITS is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of information technology infrastructure initiatives that support and align with organizational goals. This role involves supervising a team of ITS professionals, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective IT services.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversight of Helpdesk Operations: The Director of ITS should oversee the helpdesk team to ensure they provide timely and effective support to all users. This includes providing directions to help manage the ticketing system, setting service level agreements, and ensuring user satisfaction.
• Cybersecurity Management: The Director should develop and enforce policies and procedures to protect the organization’s ITS infrastructure from cyber threats. This includes regular security audits, employee training on security best practices, and incident response planning.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: The Director should establish and maintain a disaster recovery plan to ensure IT services can be quickly restored during a system failure, data loss, or other emergencies. This involves regular testing and updating the plan to address new threats and changes in the ITS environment.
• Strategic ITS Planning: Beyond day-to-day operations, the Director of ITS should contribute to the organization’s strategic planning by aligning ITS initiatives with business goals, exploring new technologies to enhance productivity, and planning for future ITS infrastructure needs.
• Training: The Director should lead and mentor a team of ITS professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Staff Development: The Director should foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer service excellence within the ITS department.
• Collaboration: The director should collaborate with other departments to integrate ITS solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business outcomes.
• Project Management: The Director should oversee the management of ITS projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
• Vendor Management: The Director should manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to procure technology solutions and services.
• Policy Creation: The Director should develop, implement, and manage ITS plans and policies in support of business needs
• Emerging Technologies: The Director should stay abreast of emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Proven experience in ITS leadership roles focusing on strategy and supervision
• Strong understanding of ITS infrastructure, systems integration, and project management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and drive results.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, is a plus
• Minimum eight years experience in the technology field, including five continued years in management
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Performance Metrics:
• Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Compliance: Measure the percentage of IT services delivered within the agreed-upon timeframes outlined in SLAs. This reflects the ITS department’s commitment to service management and customer satisfaction.
• Project Delivery Metrics: Track ITS projects’ on-time delivery, budget adherence, and scope management. This ensures that IT initiatives align with organizational strategies and are executed efficiently.
• Customer Satisfaction Scores: Regularly survey internal and external customers to gauge satisfaction with IT services. This can include helpdesk support responsiveness and resolution effectiveness.
• Data Governance and Integrity: Implement metrics around data quality, clarity of data ownership, and data changes to build trust in organizational data. This aligns with the role of data governance in supporting business users and data-driven insights.
• Operational Efficiency: Evaluate the ITS department’s ability to streamline processes, reduce downtimes, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Innovation and Improvement Initiatives: Track the number of new systems or processes implemented that lead to measurable improvements in service delivery or cost savings.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that ITS systems and data are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. Metrics can include the number of security incidents resolved and compliance audit results. A disaster recovery must be in place and periodically audited to ensure scalability and up-to-date security metrics
