Job Title: .Net Application Developer
Rate: $50-65/hr on W2 or $55-75/hr on C2C- MAX
Duration: 3+ Months– Initial duration is funded for 3 months. There is the potential that this could go beyond that date for a total of 6-months, but currently funding is only approved for the 3-month initial duration, so anyone submitted should understand this may only be a 3-month contract term.
Location: Fully ONSITE TO START in Nampa office (1650 11th Ave. N., Nampa, ID 83687). After an initial fully-onsite period (as determined by the client based on how the developer is picking things up upon starting), client is willing to consider allowing a hybrid weekly schedule.

Start Date: ASAP
Expected Hours Per Week: 32 hours per week

Job Description:
The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections (IDJC) is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Developer to join our IT Team in support of the modernization of the Idaho Juvenile Offender System – IJOS2.0.

IDJC is seeking staff augmentation to provide skilled expertise in application development in pursuit of completing the final phase of the modernization of the Idaho Juvenile Offender System – IJOS2.0. This developer will augment the existing state IT Team in meeting critical go-live deliverables as a member of a cross-functional team. This position must be able to work independently and as a part of a team to drive results for the final phase of this project, some duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to aiding in several focus areas of development, see skills for details on desired experience.

Work assignments may include but are not limited to:

IJOS 2.0 Enterprise Web Application

o Feature development/improvement
o Bug fixes
§ Receive testing feedback from team members
o SQL queries and data manipulation
o Co-development alongside junior developer
§ Includes DevOps best practice training & knowledge transfer

COPS/CBAS website
o Deploy website code provided by a 3rd party contractor
o Rollback to previous versions of website code
o Create test website environment (and possibly database environment) for 3rd party contractor

DHW (ESPI/WITS) Interface
o Update/rewrite legacy code to work with new database structure and tables (Oracle to SQL)

§ Create new table structures
§ API
§ Service
§ Update Auth authorizations
§ Modify (if necessary) data sent and received to IDHW
