Job Title: Network Engineer (Wireless)
Salary: $105K Yearly plus bonus and benefits.
Location: Irvine, CA- Hybrid
Travel: 80% covering San Diego region.

They are expanding their activities into emergency care, home care and health promotion.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
• Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities?
• This person is 60-70% of work will be traveling and installing, making sure network equipment is correct
• 40% design
• Only handling support issues on your account
• Support DR testing – Remote
• May not fly solo but will be shadowing
• 4 PMs that they will have to support
• Schedule management – Needs to be assertive and confident
• Contracting with the DoD
• Candidates will receive a company card , Can chose to drive or fly – Can rent a car for long trips. Will travel on Monday, meeting Tuesday. Could be onsite and leave on Friday.
• Will receive Monitors, laptop, key board or mouse, Company phone or reimbursement for personal phone
• Can rent a car or purchase plan tickets, Can do mileage if its close.
Target years of experience:
• 2-3 years of equivalent office/administrative experience.

POSITION PURPOSE : The Network Engineer provides network design inputs for the creation and review of necessary documents, including VISIO and PDF files, Installation Guides and diagrams for the purpose of building a patient monitoring system. Work with project management and design teams to ensure approved standards, processes are followed, and priorities are properly aligned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAIN DUTIES
• Responsible for the creation of the network system design of documents for each planned installation within the Monitoring Business Unit
o Reviews all installation orders and posts all documents related to each order on the company’s internal database
o Orders necessary installation supplies for each installation planned
o Develops network and antenna system designs
o Develops design documents for presentation to patient monitoring customers
o Designs documents including, but not limited to the following:
 Network topology diagram
 Network Switches
 Network Switch Configurations
o Ensures that network design documentation is correct, complete and completed on time
o Reviews work, addresses questions, and assists with all aspects of configuration and installation
o Provides necessary information as requested by Technical Support and Repair Center
o Completes projects or other duties as assigned or required
• Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with employees and customers
o Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously
o Politely obtains and conveys information as needed
o Maintains the Company’s professional reputation
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Certification / Experience required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Associate level network certification or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in network planning, design and configuration
• Extensive knowledge of networks, cabling, and/or general construction or design planning
• Level and compensation depend on location, experience, education and skills
