Job Title: Senior Project Manager with Datasphere and ASAPIO experience
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Bloomington / Marshall, MN
Rate: $75-100/hr on Vendor W2

Person has to be local to MN. If they do not have the tool experience, we would need to be considerably lower, if they have the tool experience we could potentially go higher.

Ideal candidate has some experience managing projects that used these tools (Datasphere and ASAPIO) so they can bring awareness and capability to the table. If we can’t find that will look at PM’s with other data experience. Should have SAP Experience

This person should live in MN. At times they will need to go to the Bloomington office and other times to the Marshall location. They have a plane (free to use) that fly’s back and forth daily from Bloomington to Marshall on Tuesday-Thursday. They shouldn’t need to do an overnight stays as the plane fly’s back home.
Hard to say how often they will be onsite versus remote. Overall a majority of the time will be remote but this is not fully remote.
Schwans started on the S/4 journey about 2 years ago and Client is the partner. They are now in the Design and Explore phase.
This need is for someone for a minimum of 1 year but likely 3-4 years so want a long term committment. They see future work streams for the person to work on. In this role this person does not need to be technical. They need a Sr. PM. They need to be great communicator and have vendor management and data project experience.

The initial project is to stand up our data strategy from an architecture perspective including using Datasphere for information from S/4; ASAPIO for data from other systems (eg: BW, 3rd party tools), pull data into MS Fabric, get data structured into Bronze, Silver and Gold Layers and then build reports from that data using Power BI. For Phase2 of the work we move into what data do we bring in to the new solution, from where, and at what intervals. Also considering what the approach will be to replacing our existing reporting that won’t work in the future.

This project will engage multiple external vendors and implementation partners as well as Schwan’s internal IS and Business resources.

Those teams will do the technical work and this PM will manage it and provide governance on data owners. They will work with business and push data ownership. They have technical SME’s and vendors to help.

They have picked the tools and Datasphere and ASAPIO are new for them. They already have been using MS Fabric.
