We are looking for ato be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to the client’s specifications.

Here is an overview of the project:
SmarTrip Mobile Application (App) 2.0 Project The SmarTrip Mobile app is a third-party developed Mobile app in the iOS and Android platform for SmarTrip account management and WMATA transit product purchases. The SmarTrip Mobile App was first released in the iOS platform in September of 2020 and the Android platform was released in June 2021. After the launch of the SmarTrip Mobile App in June 2021, WMATA and the third-party implementation partner began discussing the next steps for implementing enhancements for the mobile App. These enhancements aim to improve the overall user experience in the existing WMATA mobile app and Mobile Wallet by providing features that cater to creating a personalized user-friendly experience. One of the purposes of this task order is for the offeror to support the implementation of the SmarTrip Mobile App 2.0 by providing application integration and deployment to include development; configuration and testing; and deployment of the code to production environments for the applicable SmarTrip components and dependencies.

What You’ll Do
• Analyze, design, develop, and implement technical designs
• Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions
• Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review
• Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of Web applications
• Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures
• Work on General Orders Track Rights System and Site-Specific Work Plan application programs upgrades and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards
• Successfully complete mandatory security awareness training on annual basis
• Review and assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation
• Participate in the mandatory peer code reviews as part of the code commitment process to ensure that secure coding practices are being followed before code is merged into the main development branch. Document those pull request reviews in Bitbucket

What You’ll Need
Required:
• Proficiency with relevant back-end programming languages, programming frameworks and tools, databases, and development platforms, including C#, .NET Core, and Oracle
• Proficiency with software development and project management methodologies
• Knowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware of all types
• Demonstrated progressive responsibility with diversified technical level information systems and data processing management
• Experience developing in an environment for multi-tiered applications such as web services, APIs, clustered environments, database servers, application servers, and report servers
