Title: SmallTalk Engineer Lead / Developer
Duration: 10+ Months- Contract to Hire
Location: US – Remote, Hybrid is a plus, not required.
Remote details and time zone(s): ability to work Eastern or Central timezone

Market Rates:
• Market A: $85/hr
• Market B: $80/hr
• Market C: $75hr
• Market D: $70/hr

1. Describe your extensive experience with SmallTalk application development.

Additional Information:
• Even though SPIRIT is a decommissioning application, we need a developer to support the decomm efforts.

Describe the role and the key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing daily:
• Application development of a Desktop/Thick client application using SmallTalk Language on the Front end
• Work with the Business and Testing Resources in getting the Development work completed on time within the Sprint timelines following Agile Methodology
• Support Build and Deployment of the SmallTalk Code packaging it from lower Test environments all the way into production
• Skills involve SmallTalk expertise(in financial industry is a plus)
• Source Code Tools: Envy, GIT and Harvest
• Work like a Team player with cross platform teams that needs assistance with existing application functionality on the Technical aspects

Describe the required must have technical skills, tools, or experience:
• SmallTalk expertise – (Level 4, 7+ yrs)
• Source Code Tools: Envy, GIT and Harvest
• Windows Server

Nice to Have Skills:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, (is a plus)
• Mainframes
• SOAP web services and Restful API – Microservices

Describe interview process (who will be involved, how many interviews, etc.):
• 1 round – 1hr – panel interview with manager and others
