SOX ITCG Analyst – Hybrid

Job Title: SOX ITCG Analyst
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: San Antonio, TX -working 4 days onsite and 1 day remote
Rate:$65-70/hr on Vendor W2

We are looking for more robust SOX experience. Very similar to PCI. We want someone who is a professional in SOX that only needs to learn MPC SOX. The team also mentioned SDLC control knowledge was not present for either candidate and it is a large part of our IT SOX support.

For SOX role….
• SOX Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements, IT General Controls (ITGC), and key compliance frameworks.
• Audit and Risk Management: Experience conducting ITGC assessments and control reviews, developing ITGC control designs, as well as preparing for internal and external SOX audits.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT environments, including system access management, change management processes, and IT operations relevant to SOX compliance.
• Policy and Documentation: Strong skills in developing and maintaining SOX-related policies, control narratives, process flow documentation, and testing workpapers.
• Collaboration and Training: Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Internal Audit, External Accessors, and Business teams, providing SOX control guidance and training as needed.
• Communication Skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication for compliance reporting, control deficiencies, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple SOX compliance initiatives, deadlines, and remediation efforts.
