Tenable Administrator – Hybrid

Job Title: Tenable Administrator
W2 Rate: $70-72/hr
LOCATION DETAILS: Boston, MA – Hybrid, 3 days in Boston (Tues – Thurs)
Only taking USC, GC or H4 EAD, L2 Visa or TN Visa
Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Job Description:

We are seeking resources who have a strength in Tenable administration. Those who will do well, bring the following skillset:
• Tenable backend Tenable.IO configuration and Tenable.SC configuration.
• Tenable One migration and implementation experience is critical.
• Experience working with the organization’s towers to deploy agents and to maximize scanning efficiency and coverage.
• Patching of Tenable software (not the server OS patching, the application patching).
• Perform Tenable Installs and upgrades as required – managing a SaaS environment with the vendor
• Manage change control for Tenable, help create necessary dashboards on Tenable, set up reporting in Tenable and produce Tenable reports to share with senior management.
• Monitor Tenable for outages (available out of hours for high Sev escalations).
• Raise/respond to tickets on Remedy\Helix that are associated with Tenable
• Check\test Tenable after environmental patching or changes.
• Run\arrange compliance scans on Tenable and work directly with vendor (Tenable) to escalate\resolve issues
• Advice and guidance to the organization’s IT towers that require to use Tenable (Be the Tenable expert within the organization).
• Must be willing to be available for disaster recovery support during US business hours (lead the recovery of vulnerability scanning service within 72hrs), while some tests can happen on Saturdays.
• Integrate into the client’s security team and report into the organization’s security.
