Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $50-55/hr on Amtex W2- MAX- Depends on experience.
Location: REMOTE from US

We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Service Delivery Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a Cybersecurity Standards Program. This individual will drive complex workstreams, manage dependencies, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure governance requirements are translated into actionable and measurable program outcomes.
This is not a cybersecurity policy or governance SME role. We are looking for a proven program leader with strong service delivery experience who can effectively manage multiple initiatives, drive accountability, and keep projects moving in a fast-paced, matrixed enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Delivery
• Own and manage the end-to-end cybersecurity standards lifecycle, including intake, drafting, review, approval, and publication activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with clearly defined milestones, deliverables, owners, and timelines.
• Drive execution across multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining delivery quality and schedule adherence.
• Identify, track, and remove roadblocks to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Risk, Dependency & Issue Management
• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and proactively escalate concerns before they impact delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and sequencing to avoid downstream delays.
• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans for critical risks.
Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership
• Partner with standards owners, risk and compliance teams, document custodians, and technical SMEs to drive alignment and execution.
• Facilitate productive discussions that result in decisions and action items.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate status, risks, and challenges with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Support adoption of governance processes through effective communication and change management practices.
Governance & Decision Management
• Manage governance forums, approval checkpoints, and decision-making processes.
• Create agendas that drive outcomes and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
• Track action items and ensure accountability for follow-through.
Reporting & Executive Visibility
• Develop executive-ready dashboards, status reports, and escalation materials.
• Provide leadership with proactive visibility into program health, risks, milestones, and decisions.
• Track service metrics, cycle times, SLA adherence, and overall workstream performance.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, change logs, and program records.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
• Establish and refine standard operating procedures for program delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and increase throughput.
What Success Looks Like
• Cybersecurity standards move through review and approval processes on schedule.
• Risks, blockers, and stakeholder challenges are identified and resolved quickly.
• Leadership has real-time visibility into program status without needing to request updates.
• Governance forums consistently drive decisions and keep initiatives moving forward.
• The standards development process operates as a scalable, repeatable service with measurable improvements over time.

Required Qualifications
Program & Service Delivery Experience
• 5+ years of Program Management, Project Management, or Service Delivery experience.
• Background supporting cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, governance, or other highly regulated environments.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• Experience building and managing project plans, RAID logs, executive dashboards, and delivery metrics.
• Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies and Jira-based program management.
• Working knowledge of governance, risk, and control frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
Technical & Business Tools
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using SharePoint or similar document management platforms.
• Ability to effectively engage with technical teams supporting information security, infrastructure, and controls.
Communication & Leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to tailor messaging across technical, operational, and leadership audiences.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive consensus, and manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable delivering difficult messages related to timelines, risks, resource constraints, and decision delays.
Professional Characteristics
• Strong ownership mentality with a focus on execution and accountability.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Self-starter who proactively drives initiatives forward.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments and excels at creating structure and process.

Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP certification strongly preferred (CAPM considered).
• Additional certifications such as CISA or CRISC are a plus but not required.
