Location: 610/290 area of Houston, TX- Hybrid work schedule of 2-3 days a week HOWEVER in the beginning you will be in the office more to get acclimated hiring manager is flexible with contractors coming in earlier and leaving earlier around traffic.
Duration: 12+ Months – Multi Year Contract
Rate: $60-70/hr on W2 or $70-80/hr on C2C or 1099- MAX

Experience with Origami Risk the most important expertise to have OR worst case another Risk Management Platform ( RMIS/GRC platform)

Contract Job Summary:
The Risk Management Information Systems – Business Analyst supports the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the enterprise Risk Management Information System (Origami Risk), ensuring reliable platform performance and configuration support across 200+ operating companies. This role combines hands-on system configuration with operating company enablement, serving as a key point of contact for platform support and training.

Duties:
– Perform daily system maintenance and support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
– Build and maintain dashboards and standard/ad hoc reports for stakeholders
– Configure and maintain forms, workflows, and data capture fields
– Configure and support the mobile application experience for field users
– Manage user configuration, roles, permissions, and access provisioning
– Develop training materials and lead enablement sessions to onboard and support operating companies on the system
– Serve as a point of contact for OpCo-level support requests and escalations
– Document system configurations, processes, and change history
– Partner with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into system configurations
– Support testing and validation of system updates, patches, and releases
– Identify opportunities for process improvement and platform optimization

Requirements:
– AT LEAST 5 years of RMIS Business Analyst experience, but ideally someone with 10 plus years as a Senior BA with the heavy Risk background.
– Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly and apply technical/business logic
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfort working with data and reporting tools
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical end users
– Experience with Origami Risk or another RMIS/GRC platform
– Experience with EHS, Risk Management, Claims, or Safety systems
– Exposure to SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting/BI tools
– Experience supporting enterprise systems and delivering training across multiple business units

Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of education/experience
