Location: Albany, NY- Hybrid Role.
Rate: $50-60/hr on W2 or $60-70/hr on 1099 or C2C- DOE (Keep the rate competitive)
Duration: 1+ Years – Longterm Contractual.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AI / GenAI Engineer with hands-on experience in building intelligent conversational agents and deploying scalable AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in Dialogflow, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and modern machine learning frameworks, along with strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered conversational agents using GCP Dialogflow (CX/ES).
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for enterprise use cases.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and JavaScript.
• Integrate AI/ML models into production systems and APIs.
• Work with Google Cloud services (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.) for end-to-end solution delivery.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations using Looker.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for cloud resource provisioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and engineering.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of AI systems.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Dialogflow (CX preferred).
• Solid understanding of Generative AI concepts, especially RAG architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and model deployment.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of Looker or similar BI tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Vertex AI or other LLM platforms.
• Understanding of NLP and conversational AI design principles.
• Prior experience in building enterprise-grade AI agents.
• Exposure to data engineering concepts and pipelines.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with LangChain, vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in cloud security and IAM roles.
