Job Title: Software Developer with expertise in C, Java, Linux, and DevOps tools
Location: 100% REMOTE
Rate: $60/hr on Vendor W2
Duration: 6+ Months

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in C, Java, Linux, and DevOps tools to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, a keen understanding of Linux-based environments, and proficiency in implementing DevOps practices to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop high-quality software solutions using C and Java programming languages.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software applications on Linux platforms.
3. Utilize DevOps tools and methodologies to automate software delivery pipelines, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
4. Maintain and enhance existing software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues in software applications, providing timely resolutions and fixes.
6. Implement security best practices to safeguard software systems and data integrity.
7. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and team meetings to foster a collaborative development environment.
8. Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development and DevOps.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in software development using C and Java programming languages.
3. Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
4. Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.
5. Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
8. Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
2. Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and algorithms.
3. Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts.
5. Understanding of networking protocols and system administration tasks.
6. Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.).
